  • Do you sell the coins painted?
We don't sell them coloured but they are super easy to colour yourself using paint from a spray can. We show a short video of how to do it which is pinned at the top of our FB page if you want to take a look. We also have an album on Facebook showing examples of different colours our customers have painted their coins for some inspiration. Please note: We do have the “Sweet Cents” candy coloured coins available in the 6 pastel shades.
  • Can I paint my coin?
Yes, you certainly can paint them - but to get the best result you would want to use paint from a spray can. Because of the amount of raised detail it's hard to get a brush into all the nooks and cranny's. Also painting on with a brush doesn't leave a nice finish as you see all the brush strokes. But we have sprayed many with colours from a spray can and it gives a great result. Any paint from a spray can will be fine - although we don’t recommend using gloss. We prefer the look of a matte finish so the Chalk Paint in a spray can is a great option. We have used the brand Rust-oleum from Bunnings. Also, the coins look really good in the metallic silver or copper colours to reflect the real coins. Click here to see a video that shows the technique we use to spray as well as some tips and tricks. We also have an album on Facebook showing examples of different colours our customers have painted their coins for some inspiration.
  • Can I put a sealer on my coin to protect it?
We don’t think you need a sealer on your coin but if you want to seal it we recommend using a flat, clear sealer in a spray can. You can purchase it from places like Bunnings or Mite10. Just do very light dust coats. The reason to go with a flat/matte finish is so it doesn’t go patchy.
  • Can I get a customised coin?
We are unable to do customised coins as the process we use is quite complex to create our moulds and too costly to create just a one-off mould.
  • Where can I view them in person?
Please refer to our full stockists page here.
  • Do you have Gift Vouchers?
Yes we do, please check them out on the Gift Card page of our website here
  • Do you send overseas?
Unfortunately the cost to send our coins International are very expensive (even to Australia). At the moment we are only sending within New Zealand. Some people choose to have them sent to a NZ address of friends or family and then they arrange to have them sent overseas themselves. Or the other option is arranging to have friends or family that visit take them over in their hand luggage.
